Jaw Rock Crusher
The jaw rock crusher is a heavy-duty crushing equipment widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, construction materials, and chemicals. It is specifically designed for primary and secondary crushing of high-hardness materials.
- Capacity: 1-1000 t/h
- Feed Size: ≤1200 mm
- Output Size: 10-350 mm
The rock jaw crusher features a crushing chamber formed by two jaw plates—one movable and one stationary—and performs material crushing by simulating the movement of an animal’s jaws.
Primarily used for primary crushing of various ores and large materials, it is the most common equipment for the initial crushing stage in mining production lines. It accommodates feed sizes ranging from 125 mm to 1,200 mm and offers a discharge opening adjustment range of 10 mm to 350 mm. A single unit can achieve a production capacity of up to 1,000 tons per hour.

Our jaw crusher for rock can process materials such as quartz, bluestone, river pebbles, limestone, and iron ore, and is widely used across industries including mining, metallurgy, construction materials, road and railway infrastructure, water conservancy, and chemicals.
Sandreck is a professional manufacturer of stone crushing equipment. The core structure of our jaw rock crusher is cast from high-strength alloy steel. By combining an optimized crushing chamber design with a high-performance power system, the machine efficiently processes hard raw materials to meet the demands of large-scale industrial production. Additionally, it features a modular design for flexible configuration and offers high stability, low energy consumption, and a long service life.
Jaw Rock Crusher Machine Working Principle
Key components of the rock jaw crusher include the frame, fixed jaw plate, movable jaw plate, eccentric shaft, flywheel, toggle plate, and adjustment system.
During operation, the electric motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate via a pulley, causing the movable jaw to periodically approach and recede from the fixed jaw. As the movable jaw plate moves toward the fixed jaw plate, the ore situated between them is crushed through the combined action of compression, splitting, and grinding. When the movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate, the material—now crushed to the required particle size—is discharged through the crusher’s discharge opening under the force of gravity.

Advantages of the Rock Jaw Crusher for Sale
1) High Feeding Capacity:
The deep V-shaped crushing chamber accommodates larger feed volumes and enhances crushing efficiency.
2) Convenient Adjustment and Higher Efficiency:
The deep crushing chamber has no dead zones. A dual-wedge system adjusts the discharge opening. It can be configured for mechanical or hydraulic adjustment, offering simpler operation than traditional shim-based methods.
3) Quick Installation and Rapid Commissioning:
Features an integrated motor mount design that mounts the motor directly onto the crusher. This eliminates the need for a separate motor foundation, saves installation space and ensures more stable power transmission, enabling faster production startup.
4) High-Quality Casting and Forging for Reliable Performance:
Key rotating components, such as the swing jaw, eccentric shaft, flywheel, and bearing housing, are manufactured using high-quality casting processes. Robust power and optimized rotational speeds ensure stable production.

Jaw Type Rock Crusher Application
Jaw crushers are widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, construction, and chemicals, primarily for the primary and secondary crushing of various ores and large-sized materials.
- Mining Industry: Jaw rock crushers for sale are commonly used for the initial crushing of ores—such as granite, limestone, and iron ore—and can handle large raw material blocks while producing the appropriate particle size for subsequent fine crushing and grinding stages.
- Construction Materials: In the construction sector, they crush and recycle construction waste, concrete, and road paving materials, ensuring aggregate size and quality meet engineering specifications.
- Chemical Industry: They can crush and process chemical raw materials, including those for pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, rubber, and plastics.
- Water Conservancy and Transportation: In water conservancy projects and transportation infrastructure construction, jaw-type rock crushers process large materials to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Metallurgy Industry: They are used for crushing during the beneficiation and smelting of metal ores, such as iron, copper, and manganese.
