Our sand making production lines are designed to handle capacities ranging from small-to-medium to ultra-large scales. The complete system integrates feeding and conveying, crushing and shaping, screening and classification, sand washing and dewatering, and eco-friendly dust removal.
Raw stone is fed into a jaw crusher for primary processing via a vibrating feeder, then transferred to a VSI sand-making machine for shaping and sand production. The resulting mixture is classified using a multi-layer vibrating screen. For applications requiring higher purity, the line incorporates sand washers, fine sand recovery units, and dewatering screens to remove silt and moisture. Belt conveyors link the various stages to ensure continuous, automated material transfer.
This sand making plant processes raw materials—such as natural rock, limestone, granite, sandstone, and river pebbles—into manufactured sand that meets construction standards. Designed as an alternative to natural river sand, the output serves as concrete aggregate for infrastructure, dry-mixed mortar, and mine-based manufactured sand projects.
Types of Material
An artificial sand making plant is widely used in construction sites, highway and bridge projects, concrete batching plants, and water conservancy and hydropower engineering. It is suitable for crushing various stones and minerals, such as limestone, granite, marble, basalt, gravel, quartz, pebbles, cobbles, dolomite, and calcite.

Feeding Process
Large raw stones are fed into a vibrating feeder, which delivers material evenly, continuously, and at a controlled rate. This ensures stable input for the entire production line.

Crushing Process
Stone material first enters a jaw crusher for primary crushing, reducing large raw stones to medium or small sizes. Subsequently, a cone crusher or impact crusher performs secondary crushing to further reduce particle size, meeting the feed specifications for the sand-making stage.

Sand Making Process
The finely crushed material is fed into a VSI (Vertical Shaft Impact) sand-making machine for shaping, which smooths out sharp edges and corners. This effectively improves particle shape, yielding high-quality manufactured sand characterized by a cubic shape, high strength, and excellent uniformity.

Screening Process
Vibrating screens classify the processed material into various sizes, precisely separating sand and gravel to meet specific customer requirements. Oversized or non-compliant material can be recirculated back to the sand-making machine.

Sand Washing and Dewatering Process (Optional)
For materials with high clay or dust content, a sand washer and a dewatering screen can be added. These processes effectively remove impurities, soil, and excess moisture, significantly enhancing the cleanliness of the final product to produce high-quality, compliant manufactured sand.
