Our stone crushing production lines cover a capacity range from small-to-medium scale operations to large-scale mining aggregate processing. The system integrates equipment for conveying and feeding, crushing, screening, washing, and dust suppression.
Raw materials are evenly fed via vibrating feeders into a jaw crusher, cone crusher, or impact crusher for multi-stage crushing. They are then classified into various aggregate specifications using multi-deck vibrating screens. Sand washing machines and dewatering screens can be incorporated as needed for purification and moisture removal. Belt conveyors link the various stages to ensure continuous material transfer, while dust suppression and noise reduction systems can be installed throughout the process to meet environmental standards.
As a professional stone crushing plant supplier, we can customize crusher selection based on capacity, stone hardness, and finished product particle size to meet your specific production requirements.
Types of Material
Stone crusher plants are widely used in mining, quarrying, construction, and other industries to crush a variety of stones and minerals. These include limestone, granite, marble, basalt, gravel, quartz, pebbles, quarry stone, dolomite, calcite, gold ore, copper ore, iron ore, waste concrete, construction and demolition debris, and railway ballast.
Stone Crushing Plant Process
01
Feeding Process
Raw stone material is fed evenly and continuously into the stone crushing equipment by a vibrating feeder. This ensures a stable feed rate for the production line, eliminating issues such as material blockages or interruptions. The equipment features an integrated grizzly bar structure, allowing for the pre-screening and removal of soil, fines, and impurities from the raw material, which effectively prevents clogging in the primary crushing equipment.
02
Primary Crushing Process
Large raw stones are fed into a jaw crusher for primary crushing. Capable of handling oversized stones, the equipment breaks down massive raw material into medium-sized stones with uniform specifications, facilitating subsequent processing stages.
03
Secondary and Fine Crushing Process
Stones from the primary crushing stage are transported via belt conveyor to the secondary crushing phase. Based on the stone’s material properties and the requirements for the finished product, you can choose an appropriate rock crusher.
Cone crushers are used for hard rocks such as granite and basalt. They utilize continuous compression crushing to achieve higher operational efficiency and lower wear. Impact crushers are used for softer rocks like limestone, offering a high reduction ratio and producing stones with a uniform, regular shape. If high-quality concrete aggregate or premium stone products are required, a VSI sand-making machine can be added to smooth out sharp edges and produce high-quality, cubical sand and aggregate.
04
Screening Process
The crushed stone mixture is conveyed to a vibrating screen for classification, where it is precisely separated into finished aggregates of various specifications, such as 0–5mm, 5–10mm, and 10–20mm. Oversized material that does not meet size requirements is automatically recirculated via belt conveyor to the secondary or fine crushing equipment for re-crushing. This process ensures zero waste and strictly guarantees that all finished aggregates meet size and uniformity standards, satisfying the requirements for various engineering applications.
