A horizontal shaft impact crusher is a crushing machine that uses impact energy to crush materials. Its working principle is as follows.

When the horizontal impact crusher is working, the hammers rotate at high speed. When material enters, it is struck against the impact frame. The material is crushed due to the high-speed impact.

The crushed material falls under gravity and encounters the high-speed rotating hammers again, being struck against the impact frame once more for further crushing.

This process repeats until the material is crushed to the desired particle size and discharged from the bottom of the machine.

By adjusting the gap between the impact frame and the rotor frame, the particle size and shape of the material can be changed.
