CI Series Impact Crusher
The CI impact crusher features a high-precision rotor with large rotational inertia, a multi-functional fully hydraulic operating system, and an involute crushing chamber. It offers excellent overall performance and is an ideal choice for coarse and medium crushing in large-capacity crushing production lines.
- Capacity: 60-800 t/h
- Feed Size: <300-1000 mm
- Output Size: 10-80 mm
The CI series impact crusher is designed for secondary crushing and shaping, featuring a large feed opening. Its main components include a widened feed chamber, a heavy-duty rotor, high-chrome blow bars, impact liners, a hydraulic adjustment system, and the machine housing.
The CI impact crusher features an enlarged feed opening capable of accepting material up to 1,000 mm in size, allowing for direct primary crushing and thereby eliminating the need for a separate preliminary crushing stage. Its heavy-duty, high-inertia rotor offers superior impact resistance, enabling it to withstand the impact of large material blocks and perform effectively even with hard rock.
Equipped with hydraulic adjustment and housing-opening mechanisms, the stone crushing machine facilitates easy adjustment of the discharge gap and convenient internal maintenance. It also includes built-in overload protection to prevent damage to the machine caused by hard, uncrushable objects.

CI Series Impact Crusher Working Principle
The CI impact crusher is a machine that utilizes impact energy to crush materials. During operation, the rotor spins at high speed, driven by an electric motor. As material enters the impact zone, it is crushed upon striking the blow bars on the rotor and is then thrown against the impact assembly for further breakage. The material then rebounds from the impact liners back into the impact zone for repeated crushing. This process continues as the material moves through the primary, secondary, and tertiary impact chambers—progressively reducing in size—until it reaches the desired granularity and is discharged through the outlet.
Adjusting the gap between the impact assembly and the rotor allows for control over the output particle size and shape.

Features of CI Impact Crusher
1) Larger Feed Capacity, Higher Output
The CI Series impact crusher features an extra-large feed opening, allowing it to directly process raw materials with larger diameters. This eliminates the need for blasting or pre-processing oversized stones at the initial stage, significantly simplifying the workflow and directly boosting the system’s overall output.
2) Versatile Hydraulic System
Equipped with a hydraulic top-opening mechanism, the impact crusher allows for quick access to the housing, facilitating the inspection and replacement of wear parts such as blow bars and liner plates. Additionally, a fully automatic hydraulic system adjusts the gap between the impact rack and the blow bars, enabling precise control over the output particle size.
3) Excellent Particle Shape
Utilizing multi-chamber and impact crushing principles, the CI impact crusher subjects material to repeated impacts within the crushing chamber. The resulting product consists largely of cubic particles, with a minimal content of needle-like or flaky fragments.

CI Series Impact Crusher Applications
CI impact crushers are widely used in aggregate yards, mining operations (including coal), concrete mixing plants, dry-mix mortar production, power plant desulfurization, and quartz sand processing, finding extensive application across industries such as metallurgy, mining, chemicals, cement, construction, refractories, and ceramics. In cement plants, they are utilized for the primary crushing and pre-grinding of limestone and clay-based raw materials. In mining operations, they process medium-hard ores such as iron and copper. They are also employed for aggregate processing in concrete mixing plants, commercial concrete production, highway construction, and water conservancy projects.
