Mineral separation equipment comprises complete sets of machinery, such as magnetic separators, flotation machines, and gravity separation equipment. These systems achieve the separation of valuable minerals from gangue by exploiting differences in their physical and chemical properties.

Magnetic separators utilize differences in magnetic properties to process magnetic ores, such as iron and manganese. Flotation cells employ chemical reagents to separate non-ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals. Gravity separation equipment—including jigs, spiral chutes, and shaking tables—relies on differences in specific gravity to separate precious and other metals, such as gold, tin, and tungsten.
